One Down, Nineteen To Go

The other day I noticed that one of Dylan's bottom teeth looked awfully crooked, which was strange to me since I always thought he had such nice straight baby teeth. When I looked at it closely, the tooth was rather loose and wiggly.

So the other day he came running home from his friends with his little tooth in a baggie yelling "Hey Mom, Stacie pulled out my tooth!"

And so the days of goofy teeth and pictures begins.

I was a little worried he was losing this tooth too early (since he's only five), and I was even more worried about having to get him a retainer so that his other teeth didn't shift while we waited for his adult incisor to grow, but his adult incisor has already erupted (I'm guessing that's why his baby tooth fell out).

I am absolutely dreading the losing teeth era...I remember hating getting my teeth pulled and I don't think I will enjoy pulling their teeth either.

I'm worried cause Noah hasn't lost any yet and he's 7. Does the tooth fairy visit the Giovannoni house?
